Brookgreen Gardens is a unique melding of art, nature, and history. It’s a great way to spend the day exploring and enjoying the beauty of coastal gardens and wildlife. In summer they have a Summer Music Festival featuring evening concerts on Wednesdays through Saturdays June through August or the item that’s on my most desired bucket list is to attend Nights of Thousand lights. A beautiful festival of lights displayed throughout the trees and the gardens.

Our stay was exceptional! From the moment we stepped in, the cleanliness and organization of the place were evident. It also provided everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay - linens, towels, washcloths, and even beach towels.

The host went above and beyond by ensuring we had our first morning’s coffee ready to go, complete with a Keurig, dish soap, and dishwasher pods.

Despite the kitchen being small, it was fully equipped with a 2-burner stove and all the necessary cooking utensils.

The thoughtful touches didn’t stop there; shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were also provided. There were two TVs with streaming services readily available.

The true charm of this place, for me, was its location - being right across the street from the ocean made our stay unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience the beauty and tranquility of the beach. Highly recommend this wonderful retreat to anyone looking to enjoy a serene beach getaway.

Jessica was an excellent host and we had such an excellent stay. Very clean and sweetly decorated, at a convenient location right across the road from public beach access.

My two kids enjoyed the pool as well and we did a day trip to Brookgreen gardens as well as a morning Putt Putt very close by. We had to communicate once upon arrival to confirm code vs key but Jessica was responsive and quick to answer questions. Great little place, truly happy.
